Size at the door

- Length. Aim for four-fifths of the door’s width or more. For a 36″ door, 30″ or longer.
- Width. 18″ to 24″ takes one good wipe of each foot. Go deeper on a wide landing.
- Thickness. If the door swings over the mat, measure the gap under it first and leave ¼″ over the mat’s thickness.
About this mat
Coir that lies flat.
A tight flat weave instead of a pile, only a quarter inch high, so it lies under doors and a cart rolls over it. The latex back keeps it from walking.

Care
Shake it out, sweep it or vacuum it. If it gets soaked, stand it on edge so the back dries too. Do not machine wash.
Good to know
- It sheds at first. New coir loses loose fiber for the first few weeks. Shake it out or vacuum it; it settles.
- Keep it under cover. In standing water or full sun coir darkens and wears sooner.
